Filming day 4 in the countryside - location and shooting

Over the shoulder shots of me filming out of the car window

Filming out of the car window

Filming an long shot of a house on the hill at the opposite side of the field that would be a "pretty" establishing shot if I needed to include an extra shot

Long shots of the valley as I was walking down the hill. The location I want to shoot in is near the trees

The next field along from where I want to film and another possible location

Me standing on the high grounded location and practicing the spin. As much as I liked this location, it was awkward to film on because it is a hill and the ground isn't level at all.

The lower location with flatter ground

Me practicing setting up a shot in the second location

Where I would shoot from if I use this location

Me in position to film

Videoing the reflection of the colourful trees in the stream. I used the fence to lean on so there was less movement on the camera

Standing at the top of the hill an hour and a half after taking the original images as the sun had started to go down to see what the light would be like at a similar time to when we were able to film the actual shot. Although the colours in the trees are still lovely, down in the valley where the shot would be filmed was a lot darker with a few shadows on the camera.

A third location on the walk that we found. The land was a lot flatter and the trees in the background look great with the different colours. It is also easier to get to and because it is at the top of the valley it stays lighter up there for longer which has to be one of my main considerations when choosing where to film this shot.
